I watched the Chipmunk adventure last night. And the Chipettes never fail to leave me feeling inspired. These ladies are amazing. Cute, cool, and can prove to the boys that they’re just as worthy if not better, at everything! I’ve also been MORE than excited to discover that you can play along to most of the Chipmunk Adventure soundtrack on the Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakquel video game. I’m not ashamed to say I was literally dancing around to “Off to see the world” “Girls of Rock n Roll” and most of all “Diamond Dolls” Which, bit of trivia I never knew: Diamond Dolls was written by one of the co-writers of the 80’s hit Bette Davis Eyes , another song I adore.
I leave you with a clip here, so all you 80’s girls can rock out and feel empowered by their chipmunk brand of girl power. I, personally, know that they always make me want to dance around ala Flashdance in a cut0ff sweatshirt and shake my hair around while dancing like a maniac. Yes, the Chipettes truly are the Girls of Rock and Roll!
